Internet Service Provider TalkTalk is the latest operator to introduce a range of special offers just in time for the festive season.
New subscribers to TalkTalk’s Simply Broadband package will benefit especially from the most recent promotion, which offers free ADSL broadband for a year.
SimplyBroadband is TalkTalk’s standalone internet package, meaning it does not come bundled with television or landline calls.
The deal, which requires an 18 month contract, offers customers free regular speed broadband with unlimited downloads for 12 months instead of the usual cost of £3.50 per month.
The promotion also includes a free Love2Shop voucher worth £50. Subscribers will still have to pay line rental, however.
Customers will also have to pay for their landline calls, apart from those to fellow TalkTalk customers, meaning that those with a mobile phone contract stand to get the best value from the product.
In addition to the SimplyBroadband promotion, TalkTalk has also introduced seasonal offers on its fibre optic and television packages.
Fibre-based broadband comes with unlimited data, download speeds of up to 38 Megabytes per second (Mbps), uploads of up to 2 Mbps and once again a £50 shopping voucher.
The offer price is £5 per month for the first year of the 18 month contract followed by £13.50 per month for the final six months.
Finally, PlusTV with Fibre is £14.25 per month for 12 months, then £28.50 per month for six months, once again on an 18 month contract.
This package includes not only the £50 Love2Shop voucher, but also a free mobile SIM with 200 MB data, 250 texts and 100 minutes of calls.
Also provided is a YouView box with all Freeview channels plus 7 Sky channels. This is also the only one of the current TalkTalk Christmas offers to bundle in landline calls, with TalkTalk’s Anytime package.
Like similar recent deals from Sky and Plusnet, these offers will run until February 2015.
