Plusnet broadband and home phone provider was one of Which? Magazines’ Recommended Providers in 2013, for its low-cost, high-quality and reliable service. In the same year, the ISPA (Internet Service Providers’ Association) also awarded Plusnet the title of ‘Best Consumer Customer Service’ winner – their entirely UK-based team is available 365 days a year. Plusnet’s relatively small status as an ISP has allowed the company to focus on providing customer satisfaction and excellent quality.
- Flexible options include rolling monthly contracts, so no yearly tie-in; the ability to cancel your contract with only 10 days notice (there is a small start-up fee); and you don’t have to buy a router from Plusnet – you can do this if you wish, or you can provide your own equipment.
- Standard broadband and phone packages are very low cost (currently as little as £2.50 per month for 12 months) and include weekend calls (at least) and an unlimited usage allowance.
- Fibre Optic packages are competitively priced and offer unlimited usage, speeds up to 76 Mb/s and various home phone options.
- Plusnet is not a television provider – however customers with a satellite dish and Sky box can purchase BT Sport from them for £5.99 per month.
