Ordering Sky Digital without connection to telephone line

Ideal if you want to use you’re Sky digibox in Europe.

Step 1 – Ordering your viewing card

You will need a UK address to order your Sky viewing card, please do not ask us to supply you with an address, we can’t.

Contact Sky on 08702 404040 and order a viewing card. You will probably be asked the following questions –

Q - Do you want Sky to install you’re Digibox?

A – No, you already have your equipment, you simply want to order a viewing card.

Q – Why don’t you take advantage of a free box and installation from Sky?

A – You do not want to have the Digibox connected to a telephone line.

Q – Do you have the serial number of the digibox?

A – If you get asked this, tell them you will call back. Ring us on 0191 2736784 and we will put a box to one side for you and give you the serial number. We would always ask you to ring Sky first as they don’t often ask this question and it saves us a lot of hassle.

Sky will then ask you to confirm some other details, your name, address, post code and telephone number. On some occasions they may ask for your bank details.

Sky will then send you a contact for you to sign; in some cases they will also send the card as well. Sign the contracts and send them back to Sky, they will then send you your viewing card.

Step 2 – Ordering your box

Check online at www.simplydigital.co.uk to see which box takes your fancy. All of the boxes we sell perform well. However we have found that the new Pace boxes seem to have the most sensitive tuners, great for bad signal areas. Please do not order your box online if you wish to use our free card matching service.

Step 3 – Matching your box with your card

You will need to connect your Sky digibox to a dish aligned to the Sky satellite. Once you have done that, ring the number on screen and they will match the card to the box.
