Amstrad DRX595 Sky Digital Receiver

The latest Sky HD Digital receiver from Amstrad. The DRX595 replaces the now redundant DRX550 .

The Amstrad DRX595 is a single tuner HD receiver from Sky, designed with multiroom subscriptions in mind, but can be used as a stand alone receiver.

The DRX595 follows the same design as the DRX890 and the DRX895.

The DRX595 digibox will allow you to access both HD and SD channels, although the SD output is upscaled on to the HDMI output allowing for better overall picture quality.

The DRX595 does NOT have a built in hard drive so you will be unable to pause, rewind or record programmes. You will need the Sky + HD box in order to do this.

The DRX595 does NOT have a built in modulator, so therefore must be connected to your television via either HDMI or scart connection.
